Little League signups

• 5:30 p.m., Humbolt Elementary computer lab

Youths ages 7-16 will have the chance to register for Little League. Participants must bring a birth certificate and three proofs of physical residency. For more information, call Hailey Boethin at 541-620-4386.

Friday, Jan. 5

Coffee with CASA

• 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Corner Cup, John Day

An informal meet and greet will be held with Grant-Harney County Court Appointed Special Advocates. People may ask questions about the organization and learn how to become involved. For more information, contact executive director Hannah Hinman, 541-575-5574.

Bingo night

• 5-7 p.m., Prairie City School cafeteria

The Prairie City Parent Teacher Committee is hosting a bingo night for anyone who wants to compete for cash prizes. The cards are 25 cents each or five for $1, and daubers are $1. A potato bar and drinks will be offered. Proceeds benefit the Parent Teacher Committee. For more information, contact Meghan at 541-410-8290.

Farmers Market planning meeting
