Rodeo royalty attend coronation

On March 4, Lil Miss NPRA Rowdy Israel, 11, of Dayville and Grant County Fair & Rodeo Queen Jessica Carter, 18, of Seneca traveled to the coronation of Miss Rodeo Oregon Kayla Vincent at the Erickson Aircraft Collection museum in Madras. Grant County Fair & Rodeo Advisor Nicole Israel said the girls had fun participating in the “chaps” parade led by Vincent in her custom chinks from Shasta Leatherworks. Then all royalty changed into their formal attire to spend the rest of the evening helping Vincent with her fundraising dinner and auction, she said.
