Wanted: Foster parents

The DHS office in John Day is seeking prospective foster parents in Grant County.

JOHN DAY – The Department of Human Services office in John Day is putting out an urgent request for foster parents in Grant County.

The current need for foster care is being met, but staff say that could change with just one phone call.

The next “Foundations Training” for foster parents is scheduled to take place from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on two Saturdays, April 26 and May 3, in Burns.

People are asked to share the request with others who may be interested.
