JOHN DAY – The Grant County Library is hosting a traveling display spotlighting the works of poet William Stafford.
The display includes numerous books and videos from the library’s collection, which will be showcased until July 21.
Stafford, who died in 1993, was Oregon’s poet laureate and also held that distinction for the Library of Congress. He taught at Lewis & Clark College for many years and in 1992 won the Western States Book Award for lifetime achievement in poetry.
The Grant County Library is at 507 S. Canyon Blvd.
