Late season snow event expected above 3,500 feet

Snow accumulations of 1-3 inches in the valleys and 3-6 inches in the mountains are expected.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for a late season snow event expected overnight.

The advisory is in effect from 5 p.m. today until 9 a.m. Wednesday for portions of Grant County above 3,500 feet elevation, especially Seneca and Long Creek.

Snow accumulations of 1-3 inches in the valleys and 3-6 inches in the mountains are expected. Drivers should anticipate snowpack and slick roads.
