Two-day closures planned at some campgrounds for pine beetle treatment

Contractors will begin spraying tree trunks in efforts to prevent mortality from pine beetles, closing several campgrounds on the Emigrant Creek Ranger District for two weekdays. Campground closures include Joaquin Miller, Aug. 1-2; Idlewild, Aug. 2-3; Rock Springs, Aug. 6-7; Delintment Lake, Aug. 8-9; and Buck Springs, Aug. 9-10.
