Oregon State Police troopers and emergency personnel responded to a fatal single-vehicle crash near mile post 200 on Highway 26 Saturday afternoon.
Investigation revealed that a 2015 Ford F-150, operated by Gordon Waite, 39, of Medford, was traveling eastbound when he failed to negotiate a curve, according to an Oregon State Police press release. The vehicle rolled down and embankment, striking several trees before coming to rest.
Waite sustained fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
OSP was assisted by the Grant County Sheriff’s Department and ODOT.
