Younger set kicks up some dirt

Youngsters of all ages ride, rope and kick up dirt in the 2014 Cow Kids Rodeo.

JOHN DAY – By Sunday after fair week, the Grant County Fair and Rodeo is one for the books – except for the Cow Kids Rodeo.

The competition at the fairgrounds arena last Sunday was packed with thrills – and a few spills – as youth of all ages tested their roping and riding skills.
