JOHN DAY – Seventeen teams teed off at Sunday’s Blue Mountain Hospital Foundation Fundraiser Scramble.

In all, 73 players hit the links in the 18-hole scramble at the John Day Golf Club, and about 12 nonplayers joined in for the barbecue held that afternoon.

“Great food, great time and funds raised for hospital equipment,” summed up organizer Judy Krutsinger. “It was certainly a win for all.”

Proceeds from the entry fees, auction and barbecue go to the purchase of a bone density scanner for the hospital.
