Todd Alan Berry, 46, of John Day passed away Thursday, Aug. 24, in John Day. A remembrance and potluck will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, at Clyde Holliday State Park in Mt. Vernon.

Berry was born March 15, 1971, to Steven W. Berry and Reba A. Dickens in Burns. In 1990, Berry graduated from Mt. Vernon High School. He attended Treasure Valley Community College in Ontario. He dated Billie Jo Elliott for five years before the couple married on Dec. 8, 2016, in Canyon City.

His hobbies included fishing, bird hunting, barbecuing, playing guitar, camping, hiking, mushrooming and horn hunting.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Reba Berry.

He is survived by his wife, Billie Berry, of John Day; father, Steve Berry, of Mt. Vernon; brother Richie Berry of Dayville; daughter Jessica Berry Williams and son-in-law Cody Williams of Bates; daughter Amanda Berry Curtis and son-in-law Rayce Curtis of Portland; stepdaughter Sunnie Moore of Kimberly; and three grandchildren.
