NORTH POWDER - Ski Anthony Lakes' first full weekend of operation will be Dec. 4 and 5, with a lot of fun activities happening on Saturday, Dec. 4.-

The resort will have the Rock Garden Chairlift and the Handletow running this weekend, with ski rentals and lessons available.

On Dec. 4, Ski Anthony Lakes will be holding a food drive, celebrating with a Victorian Christmas, and will also have a Burton Snowboard representative at the ski area showing riders the newest Burton equipment.

The Victorian Christmas Celebration will consist of a tree and lodge decorating party from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. upstairs in the lodge, a Victorian Alpine Ski Race (downhill race on wooden skis with no edges which should be a lot of fun to watch; weather permitting) and a December Food Drive. -

There is no entry fee for the Victorian Alpine Ski Race and racers under age 18 must have a signed release form from a parent or guardian which may be signed in the Retail Shop or downloaded off our Web site at www.anthonylakes.com.

There will be also be Burton representatives at Ski Anthony Lakes with the newest Burton snowboard equipment.-

Snowboard enthusiasts may try out the equipment by signing up at the demo tent.

Ski Anthony Lakes is offering a $5 discount on lift tickets in exchange for three nonperishable food items during the food drive which will be held on the weekends of Dec. 4-5 and Dec. 11-12.
