Armstrong earns top honors

JOHN DAY - Ree Armstrong from Grant Union High School earned top honors at the Oregon Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) State Business Leadership Conference (SBLC) by placing ninth in the business procedures and seventh in the accounting I events.

Armstrong was among the 1,500 high school students throughout Oregon who competed in the state championships for business education.

Carrie Brown, Brenna Caughlin, Marshall Hayes, Maci Mascal, Kim Mathews and Andrew Wright also competed from Grant Union at state. Guy Johnson is the FBLA club advisor for Grant Union.
