The friends and family of Roger Roepke, who died in an avalanche March 7 while skiing in Eagle Cap Wilderness, have announced plans for a Roger Roepke Memorial Weekend as follows:

Saturday, March 14

A Celebration of Spirit dinner and potluck (bring what you would like), 5 p.m., at the Joseph Community Center (on S. First Street. in Joseph, one block east of Main Street.)  Beer and wine will be provided. Contact Janet Pulsifer for more information at 541-398-0189.

Sunday, March 15

Roger Roepke Memorial Ski Day at Ferguson Ridge, east of Joseph (turn right on Tucker Down Road). Enjoy one of Roger's favorite activities: a day on the slopes with friends and family. Fergi opens at 10 a.m.  

Wake at 2 p.m. at Terminal Gravity pub. On the way to Joseph from Enterprise, turn south on School St. The pub is on the left after 100 yards.   Finger-food potluck; host bar.  Music, sharing, and fun. Contact Goshen Anjali for more information at 541-426-3898.
