Bank names Hunt to manage JD branch

Sherri Hunt

JOHN DAY - U.S. Bank has named Sherri Hunt manager of the U.S. Bank office in John Day.

Hunt has been with U.S. Bank since 2001, when she started as a teller at the Grant County branch in John Day.

She has moved up the ranks in progressively larger positions with the company, culminating in this recent promotion to branch manager. Previous jobs included eight years as the office manager at the Blue Mountain Eagle.

In addition to her professional responsibilities, Hunt is a mentor with Her-os and He-ros, a mentoring club through Families First of Grant County. She and her husband, Byran, live in John Day.

She succeeds Christy Finley, who retired in July after 31 years in banking.
