TONASKET, Wash. - Caroline M. Zabreznik, 73, of Tonasket, died Dec. 24. A celebration of life was held Jan. 7 at the Tonasket Senior Center.
Mrs. Zabreznik was born July 2, 1938, in Vancouver, Wash. In 1947 she moved with her siblings and mother, Mary Balderson, and her husband Theron Keeney, to Hamilton. They moved to Long Creek in 1949.
In 1953, she moved to Tonasket with her foster parents, Elmer and Cecil Musgrave. She graduated from Tonasket High School in 1956, and attended Kinman Business School in Spokane. On May 25, 1957, she married Louis D. Zabreznik in Aeneas Valley, Wash.
Her interests included following the many activities of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Louis; sons, John (Donna) and Mick (Gayla), all of Tonasket; brother, Jim (Jan) Balderson of Long Creek; grandchildren, LaGail and Darren, Brad and Lacey, Krista and Ty, and Brent and Evelia; great-grandchildren, Michael, Ryden, Cadence, Tyce, Alex, Connor and Levi; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her infant son, Eldon; mother, Mary; sister, Sally; foster parents, Elmer and Cecil Musgrave; and her in-laws, Louie and Jessie Zabreznik.
Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Tonasket Senior Center. Arrangements are under the care of Legacy Memorial Funeral Home in Omak, Wash.
