What is your No.1 goal for the next six months?
I want to feel healthy!! I am tired of feeling like life is passing me by while I just sit on the couch watching it. Lazy was not what I wanted to be when I grew up. I admit that I have a lot of bad habits that I need to break, a lot of good ones I need to make, and some great reasons to do it.
What is going to be your biggest motivator?
I would have to say that my teammates will be, if we all stick to the plan. It is so much easier to do this with friends. I know that there will be times when we fall off the wagon and give in to our old routines, but that is why it is called a challenge. We will pick each other up and succeed together.
What is your strategy for staying the course?
I guess I actually hadn't really thought about the "strategy". It took a lot of work to get as heavy as I am now so I have to put a lot of work into turning it around. GET OFF MY LAZY BUTT! Seriously, I need to exercise, change a lot of eating habits, and believe in myself. Keeping a journal is something I plan on doing so that I can look back on obstacles I have overcome and how much closer I am getting to my goals.
What is your secret food craving?
It's no secret. I love to eat, ANYTHING. If there is food, I will eat it. Cooking is one of my favorite hobbies, eating is the other. Have I mentioned I love food.
What is the exercise I love to hate?
Pushups. I used to not mind them in high school when they were easy, but now I find that I despise them. Maybe it is because my arms are screaming that they can't hardly lift that much weight. I hope to enjoy them again someday.
What is your No. 1 strategy?
Change my way of thinking to change my way of living.
