Hello to my entire fellow weight loss challengers, I wish you all the best of luck and hope each one of your goals happens. To my team mates, I love you all and have been blessed to work with some amazing people. I hope that we can be inspirations to one another and when one of us falls we can be there for each other and move forward. Now get moving and sweat the pounds off!

What is your No. 1 goal for the next six months?

My number one goal for the next six months is to get rid of my muffin top, spare tire, food baby, fat rim, whatever you call it; I am tired of looking like a rubber band wrapped around a marshmallow.

What is going to be your biggest motivator?

My biggest motivator is my family; life with them is never boring and from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. we are either working at a job or working at home taking care of each other or studying for school. I want to be around them for many years to come. Another motivation is the patients I come in contact with everyday. It is easy to give them good advice and tell them how they should act, but overall I want to be a good role model for them. I am scared to death to use insulin to survive or take a pill everyday for high blood pressure.

What is your strategy to staying the course?

My strategy for staying on course is my team mates. I am accountable for them as well as myself. I am no longer looking at the scale and screaming alone anymore.

What is your secret food craving?

My secret food craving is cheese quesadillas washed down with chocolate of any kind. The 44 oz. sodas at Bare Bones are too die for and have been a bad vice of mine for sometime now. Farewell to them and to the owners of that store, sorry for the decrease in pop sales.

The exercise you love to hate?

The elliptical machine and I are enemies. Stop by Body Fitness and Dance some day around 5:00 a.m. and see us duke it out; I am sure it's quite the sight.

What is your No. 1 strategy?

My number one strategy is to stay true to not only myself but my team mates. I am going to have a treat here and there so I don't feel deprived and make better choices for good, not just the duration of this challenge. I guess they say it's a lifestyle change and not a DIET!
