'Company Store' opens in former Outpost building

JOHN DAY - Company Store has opened its doors for business and will feature clothing, accessories and eventually much more, according to owners Bill and Janet Robertson and their daughter, Kimberly Randleas.

Currently a variety of clothing for women (including some plus sizes), teens, youth and men's with plans to expand to carry a more complete selection.

The Company Store will participate in a "Block Party" planned for Saturday, Sept. 13. The day-long event will begin at 11 a.m. and continue throughout the evening. Other businesses joining in the party include the Outpost Pizza & Pub Restaurant, which is located at 201 W. Main St. and Body, Fitness, Dance at 241 W. Main. Live music is planned during the event. Refreshments will be served at the Grant County Chamber of Commerce yard, and an art show will be presented by Faith Mountain Art Gallery in the Historic Advent Church.
