• Darren Kimball, John Day, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of alcohol by a minor. Fined $622. Ordered to complete an Alcohol Treatment Program at his own expense and schedule an evaluation within 30 days.

• Issac Moore, Canyon City, pleaded guilty to possession of alcohol by a minor. Fined $311. Ordered to complete an Alcohol Treatment Program at his own expense and schedule an evaluation within 30 days.

• Dustin Berry, John Day, pleaded guilty to possession of alcohol by a minor. Fined $311. Ordered to complete an Alcohol Treatment Program at his own expense and schedule an evaluation within 30 days.

Small Claims CourtNovember Judgments• Leslie Church v. Michael Dress. Money judgment awarded to Leslie Church in the amount of $5,060.

Circuit Court• Dec. 1 - Roy Edwin Clayton pleaded guilty to driving while suspended misdemeanor. He was placed on probation for 12 months and fined $1,166, which included $59 county jail assessment, $67 unitary assessment and $40 attorney fees with $500 suspended.

• Dec. 1 - Angela Rose Gibson pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a minor. She was placed on probation for 18 months and given the drug package, which includes special probationary conditions for drug-related offenses. She was fined $626, which included $59 county jail assessment and $67 unitary assessment with $300 suspended.

• Nov. 29 - John Day and Mt. Vernon ambulances responded to location in the 800 block of Ingle St. for a female in pain.

• Nov. 29 - John Day and Mt. Vernon ambulances responded to location in the 800 block of Ingle St. for a 75 year-old female who had fallen.

• Nov. 30 - John Day and Mt. Vernon ambulances responded to location in the 800 block of Ingle St. for a female in her 80s with respiratory problems.

• Nov. 30 - John Day Fire Department was dispatched for a flu fire at 311 S. Canyon Blvd.

• Dec. 1 - John Day and Prairie City ambulances responded to a call for a semi-conscious male in his 50s.

• Dec. 3 - John Day and Prairie City ambulances requested at Prairie City High School for a 17 year-old female having seizures.

• Dec. 3 - John Day Police responded to a domestic dispute on West Bench.

• Dec. 4 - John Day ambulance responded to a location on S. Canyon Blvd. for an 80 year-old male who was weak and unable to move.

• Dec. 2 - Jody A. Baker, Rogue River, arrested on a warrant.

Grant County SheriffAccidents and Incidents• Nov. 30 - Grant County Sheriff's Office responded to location on Scenic Drive for possible criminal mischief.

• Dec. 3 - Sheriff's office responded to a location on Canyon Mountain for a possible burglary/criminal mischief.

Arrests and Citations• Dec. 1 - Crystal Spencer, Ontario, cited for violation of basic speed rule.

Oregon State PoliceDec. 1 - State Police responded to a two vehicle crash on US Highway 395 near milepost 13.

Brian Gravem, John Day, was traveling northbound on Highway 395, negotiating a right hand sweeping corner. He lost control due to speed and hazardous road conditions and struck the vehicle operated by Thomas Falvey. Flavey was traveling southbound on Highway 395 as he negotiated the corner.

Gravem was cited for careless driving with an accident involved.

Dec. 4 - State Police responded to a Commercial Motor Vehicle Crash on Highway 395 near milepost 78.

Murray Lee, Surrey, BC, was southbound on Highway 395 when he broke traction with his truck tractor. He slowed to a complete stop when the truck tractor slid out of the southbound lane and across the northbound lane.

No injuries were reported. There was no public property damage and no violations were discovered.
