Justice CourtCANYON CITY - Grant County Justice Court reported the following fines and judgments:

Miscellaneous Violations• Tricia Jones, Prineville, violation of basic speed rule (75/55 zone). Fined $110.

• Eric Lyne, Bend, driving while suspended. Fined $320.

• Vernon Schmitt, Prairie City, was found not guilty at a hearing for operating a motor vehicle on a closed road.

• Gary Isaksen, La Pine, hunting from a public roadway. Fined $150 and restitution $75.

• Brandon Hueckaman, John Day, open container of alcohol. Fined $180.

• Christian Drutsinger, Eugene, fail to register. Fined $94.

• Jennifer Giffin, Lakeview, violation of basic speed rule (75/55 zone). Fined $110.

• Ronald Vnadeschuere, Jr., Union, driving while suspended. Fined $320.

• Geoffry McKrola, Canby, violation of basic speed rule (76/55 zone). Fined $180.

• Davit Khachatryan, Denver, Colo., following too close. Fined $237.

• Scott Haxton, Boise, Ida., violation of basic speed rule (75/55 zone). Fined $141.

• Matias Garcia, Kimberly, driving uninsured. Fined $180.

• Rass Ingle Jr., Granite, was found guilty for hunting during closed season. He was fined $250, a unitary assessment of $67, county assessment of $24 and restitution to ODFW of $1500. He was placed on 24 months probation.

Ingle was also found guilty for exceeding bag limit. He was fined $250, a unitary assessment of $67, county assessment of $24 and restitution to ODFW of $800. He was placed on an additional 24 months probation.

Charges of unlawful possession of license, hunting prohibited method, two counts of unlawful possession of buck deer and unlawful possession of grouse were dismissed.

• Gary Whatley, John Day, pleaded not guilty on a charge of maintaining a dog as a nuisance. He was fined $187, which included assessment of $37, cost of $20 and restitution of $30.

• Kevin Rapp, Mt. Vernon, pleaded not guilty on a charge of maintaining a dog as a nuisance. He was fined $187, which included assessment of $37, cost of $20 and restitution of $30.

• Johnny Lane, Canyon City, pleaded no contest on a charge of possession of less than one ounce of marajuana. He was fined $596, which included $37 assessment and $24 cost.

Small Claims CourtDecember Judgments• Ray Klein Inc. v. Stacy A. Ward, aka Stacy A. Hall, aka Stacy Lunzman and William R. Ward. Money judgment awarded to Ray Klein Inc. in the amount of $609.88.

Circuit Court• Brian Carl Baca was found guilty by a jury on a count of driving while under the influence of intoxicants. He was sentenced to 20 days in jail with credit for time served and license suspension for one year. He was fined $1,286, which included county jail assesssment of $59, unitary assessment $97, intoxicated driver fund $25 and state obligation fund $105.

Baca also pleaded guilty on another charge of failure to appear. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for time served and ordered to pay $67 unitary assessment.

• John Alton Dunlap pleaded guilty to driving while under the influence of intoxicants. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for time served. He was placed on 24-month probation. He was fined $846, which included $60 in attorney fees, $59 county jail assessment, $25 intoxicated driver fund, unitary assessment of $97 and $105 state obligation.

• Michael Robert Delapp pleaded guilty to a charge of second-degree theft. He was placed on 12-months probation and fined $926, which included $59 assessment, $67 unitary assessment and $600 in restitution.

• Blain S. Ross pleaded guilty to a charge of driving while under the influence of intoxicants. He was placed on 18 months probation, an alcohol package which includes special probationary terms for alcohol related offenses and ordered to complete 80 hours of community service. He was fined $1,086, which included $50 in attorney fees, $59 county jail assessment, $25 intoxicated driver fund, $105 state obligation and $97 unitary assessment.

• Gina Leigh was found guilty by a jury for possession of a class two controlled substance. She was given 18 months probation, a drug package which includes special probationary terms for drug related offenses and ordered to complete 80 hours of community service. She was sentenced to 15 days in jail with credit for time served. Leigh was fined $666, which included $59 county jail assessment and $107 unitary assessment.

John Day PoliceAccidents and Incidents• Dec. 13 - John Day police dispatched to a residence on Main St. for a report of a gun found that was possibly stolen.

• Dec. 13 - John Day ambulance dispatched to Riverside Trailer Park for a female having seizures.

• Dec. 13 - John Day ambulance dispatched to residence on Bridge St. for an 83-year-old male possibly having a stroke.

• Dec. 14 - John Day police dispatched for burglar alarm at the John Day post office.

• Dec. 15 - John Day ambulance dispatched to a residence on Fork Road for a 75-year-old female that had fallen and hurt her hip.

• Dec. 16 - John Day ambulance dispatched to Valley View for an 81-year-old female having difficulty breathing.

• Dec. 16 - John Day ambulance dispatched to a residence on Bridge St. for a 56-year-old feeling ill and very dizzy.

• Dec. 17 - John Day ambulance dispatched to Grant Union High School for a female that hit her head.

• Dec. 18 - John Day fire department dispatched for a fire alarm at the Federal Building on Patterson Bridge Road.

Arrests and Citations• Dec. 17 - Jill Brown, 37, John Day, cited for driving uninsured and speed.

• Dec. 18 - Gena L. Sayers, 29, John Day, cited for providing vehicle to an unlicensed driver.

• Dec. 18 - Karl H. Varenhorst, 20, John Day, was cited for driving with no operator's license and no insurance.

Prairie City PoliceArrests and Citations• Dec. 13 - Kathy Hadsell, 42, Prairie City, cited for no insurance, failure to change license information and failure to wear a seat belt.

Grant CountyAccidents and Incidents• Dec. 12 - Grant County Sheriff's office dispatched to a residence on West Bench for a shed fully engulfed in flames.

• Dec. 14 - Sheriff's office dispatched to a residence on Park St. for a report of criminal mischief in a vacant house.

• Dec. 15 - Sheriff's office dispatched to a residence in Mt. Vernon for a report of domestic dispute.

Arrests and Citations• Dec. 14 - Lavern T. Starbuck, 58, Seneca, arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants.

• Dec. 17 - Joseph Anthony Intile Jr., 73, Mt. Vernon, arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants.
