Circuit CourtCANYON CITY - Grant County Circuit Court reported the following fines and judgments:

? Edward E. Trembly, 41, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was sentenced to 30 days in Grant County Jail, placed on supervised probation for five years, and his driver's license was suspended for one year. He was fined $1,293.

? Jacki Miller, Unity, was cited for no seatbelt. Fined $97.

Grant County Sheriff? Scott Newton, 61, Palo Cedar, Calif., was cited for violation of the basic speed rule (74/55 zone).

? Renee Owens, 44, Baker City, was cited for violation of the basic speed rule (72/55 zone), and no operator's license.

DispatchJohn Day dispatch worked 100 calls during the week of July 23 through July 29. Along with various traffic warnings, trespassing, injured animals, noise complaints, and juvenile complaints, these calls included:

Law enforcement: Oregon State Police responded to a report of an accident near Holliday Park; John Day Police responded to a report of a picnic table in the river; Grant County Sheriff's Office responded to a dispute over animals; GCSO responded to a report of telephonic harassment; Prairie City Fire Department responded to a report of a forest fire; JD Police and OSP responded to a domestic dispute; Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife responded to a report of a badger that attacked a dog in Mt. Vernon; GCSO responded to a call of theft of service.

Ambulance: Monument Ambulance was requested for a 22-year-old male with head injuries and dehydration; John Day Ambulance was requested for an elderly female who had fallen and complained of hip pain.

John Day Police? Lanor L. Anderson, 57, Pilot Rock, was cited for violation of the basic speed rule (40/25 zone).

? Jessica W. Thynes, 21, La Grande, was cited for violation of the basic speed rule (73/55 zone).

Small Claims Court? Cam Credits, Inc. v. William Copenhaver and Cammi Copenhaver. Money judgment awarded to Cam Credits, Inc., in the amount of $4,166.28.

? Credit Associates, Inc. v. Angelique Jones. Money judgment awarded to Credit Associates, Inc., in the amount of $530.46.

? Credits, Inc., of Hermiston vs. Kirby Bliss and Lisa Bliss. Money judgment awarded to Credits, Inc., of Hermiston in the amount of $879.57.
