The Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor occurred on Dec. 7, 1941. A story last week about a survivor of the atomic bomb explosion at Hiroshima contained an incorrect date.

A story last week about a new visitor center being constructed at the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument should have stated that the new center will be located near Sheep Rock Overlook, not Mascall Overlook. Mascall Overlook is located farther south.
