CANYON CITY - Grant County Circuit Court reported the following fines and judgments:

• James Christopher Goodwin pleaded guilty on a charge of contempt of court and was ordered by the court to pay a unitary assessment of $67 and placed on bench probation for 12 months.

Justice Court

CANYON CITY - Grant County Justice Court reported the following fines and judgments:

• Linley Maynard, John Day, pleaded guilty on a charge of maintaining a dog as a nuisance and was fined a total of $200.

The court ordered the fine would be suspended contingent on no additional incidents of maintaining a dog as a nuisance for a period of six months.

• Suzanne Mary Biastock, Canyon City, pleaded guilty on a charge of second-degree theft as a violation and was fined a total of $57, which included an assessment of $37 and $20 cost.

Miscellaneous Violations

• Dwight Hammond Jr., Diamond, overload-tandem. Fined $210.

• Doug McGarva, Union, had a charge of driving uninsured dismissed when proof of compliance was shown.

• Travis Evans, Bend, failure to yield (accident). Fined $180.

• Ethel Bates, Terrebonne, violation of basic speed rule (57/30 zone). Fined $180.

• Pauline Habbe, Mt. Vernon, violation of basic speed rule (54/35 zone). Fined $110.

• Jimmie Dehart Jr., Ansley, Neb., overload/combination. Fined $79.

• John Baker Jr., John Day, violation of basic speed rule (75/55 zone). Fined $110.

• Christine Massingale, Unity, failed to appear on a charge of driving while suspended and was found guilty by default.

She was fined $421, plus an additional $25 driver's license suspension fee.

Massingale also failed to appear on a charge of driving uninsured and was found guilty by default.

She was fined $237, plus an additional $25 driver's license suspension fee.

• Marie Sherrod, John Day, failed to pay a $141 on a charge of defective lighting.

Her driver's license was suspended and the court ordered she pay an additional $25 driver's license suspension fee.

Sherrod also failed to pay a fine of $237 on a charge of driving uninsured.

Her driver's license was suspended and she was ordered by the court to pay an additional $25 driver's license suspension fee.

• Bradley Cunnington, Kuna, Idaho, violation of basic speed rule (85/55 zone). Fined $237.
