KIMBERLY - Julie Mansfield-Smith recently added "Mary Kay beauty consultant" to her list of job descriptions.

A Mary Kay client for over 20 years, Smith decided recently to become an independent Mary Kay consultant herself, mostly for the flexibility in the schedule.

"I love being in business for myself and setting my own hours," the Kimberly resident said. "It fits very well into my busy life." According to Smith, Mary Kay is a brand name that has been recognized for over 40 years and is also known for its career car program.

Smith and her husband Brad have lived in Grant County for over 25 years, staying "diversified" in their jobs over the years, between selling rocks, concrete and real estate, plus hauling cattle and hay. She said they love the quality of life here and hobbies that include shooting sports, hunting, fishing, horses and grandchildren.

Smith can be reached by phone, 934-2946 or e-mail, ( Visit ( for a website link.
