Eagle hires editor

Callister

JOHN DAY - A woman with a 30-year background in reporting, editing and newspaper publishing will take over the position of editor of the Blue Mountain Eagle in January.

Scotta Callister, 54, who lives in Keizer and also owns a ranch on the Middle Fork of the John Day River, is editor and publisher of the award-winning Keizertimes, a weekly newspaper in Keizer, just north of Salem.
