On Nov. 21, J. T. Sohr completed his Eagle Scout Leadership project at Dixie Ski Bowl.
The Leadership Project requires the Life Scout to plan and carry out a project that benefits the community and requires at least 50 hours of labor.
Building and installing ski racks, along with boot and coat hangers in the cabin completed his project.
Sohr also supervised the clearing of brush off the slope to make it safer to ski and snowboard.
Twenty-four people assisted with the work for a total of 158 man hours.
The project benefits the Starr Ridge Winter Sports Club and local skiers and snowboarders.
Mills Building Supply, Grant County Building Supply and Ace Hardware contributed supplies to the project.
