CANYON CITY - The Southeast Regional Alliance board will meet at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 26, at the Canyon City Community Hall in Canyon City.  The public is invited.

In addition to a general update on regional transportation issues, there will be discussion of the economic stimulus package as it relates to ODOT and Gov. Ted Kulongoski's proposed transportation funding package.

 Annette Shelton-Tiderman, workforce analyst for the Oregon Employment Department, will discuss the Eastern Oregon employment picture.

The SRA is a community and economic development region serving Grant, Harney, and Malheur Counties.  It functions as the Regional Investment Board, Regional Partnership and Southeast Area Commission on Transportation (SEACT).   

 The SEACT serves as a forum to discuss and coordinate regional transportation issues and acts as an advisory body to the Oregon Transportation Commission and the Oregon Department of Transportation.
