JOHN DAY -The Rev. Gail White addresses the topic, "Building Spiritual Walls" 10 a.m.-noon, Saturday, Nov. 15, at the First Christian Church, 311 N.E. Dayton St. A luncheon follows.
White has credentials from the Pentecostal Church of God and is a pastor, associate pastor and missionary to Mexico. She also is the local president of Women's Aglow International, and founder of Women of Grace, a Christian fellowship formed specifically to meet the spiritual needs of women.
White has overcome challenges associated with an abusive husband, drug-addicted children and a mentally ill daughter. She is now married to Hank, a Christian man whom she considers "a gift from God." During the Nov. 15 meeting, she will minister "in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, word of knowledge, prophecy and healing."
