The Malheur National Forest front offices at the supervisor's office in John Day and the Prairie City Ranger District will be closed from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, March 20, so that employees can attend a memorial service.

Melody Dawn Kincaid, a Forest Service employee since 1989, died March 12 after a sudden illness. She was 55. She had worked for the MNF in John Day and Prairie City.

The memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Strawberry Grange Hall in Prairie City.
