Grace Eleanor Josi, 71, of Prairie City died Oct. 29.

A memorial service officiated by Pastor Lee Teague will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7.

She was born March 28, 1932, at Beache, N.D., to Paul and Blanch (Davis) Hom.

She attended grade school in Brusette, Mont., and high school at Jordan, Mont. She graduated in Forman, N.D., then attended three years college in Miles City, Mont.

In 1961, she married Norman Josi at Heppner and they moved to Grant County.

As a registered nurse, Mrs. Josi was employed in Prineville, Heppner, John Day and Prairie City. She retired in 1997. One of her hobbies was gardening.

Mrs. Josi is survived by her husband, Norm Josi of Prairie City; three daughters and a son-in-law: Linda and Jeff Pen of Portland, Kelly Allan of Canyon City and Pamela Josi of Pendleton; son, Greg Josi of Woodburn; four sisters, Shirley, Clara, Violet and Jackie; two brothers, Kenneth and Terry Hom; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Florence Gunsaulus and Donna Darnstaedt.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.

Driskill Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
