JOHN DAY - GAP is a non-profit organization whose mission is to facilitate the establishment and maintenance of small and new non-profit organizations, programs and projects.

GAP's goal is to increase opportunities for families and youth to become healthy and responsible citizens in a caring community.

Grant Action Partners received funding from the John and Linda Shelk Foundation and the Jan and Jody Ward Family Fund of The Oregon Community Foundation designated for support of non-profit projects/programs in Grant County. This generous support has resulted in GAP's ability to continue the mini-grant program for funding of up to $1,000 for a limited number of Grant County non-profit projects/programs.

Application for consideration of funding may be made by completing an application form and returning it to GAP with a postmark no later than Jan. 31. Funding decisions will be made prior to Feb. 15.

An application and guidelines can be obtained by contacting Judy Krutsinger, Executive Director, at 620-1010 or by mail at GAP, P.O. Box 624, John Day OR 97845.
