NYSSA - The Grant Union High School volleyball team finished 1-2 in road matches over the weekend. The team notched crucial victories, winning a three-game Wapiti League match from Nyssa on Friday, Sept. 12, before losing a pair of non-league matches to Class 3A opponents La Grande and Baker on Saturday, Sept. 13.

No scores were available on any of the matches.

Grant Union (1-0 league, 1-3 overall) returns to action on Thursday, Sept. 18, hosting Vale in a non-league match before squaring off against Wapiti League opponent Pine Eagle in a home match on Friday, Sept. 19.

Both the Vale and Pine Eagle matches are set for 3 p.m. tip-offs.
