The Wapiti League champion Grant Union High School football team was well represented in the all-star voting with six players named first-team all-league performers by a vote of league coaches.
The Prospectors were led by seniors Cody Frazier and Devin Burril who earned first-team awards on offense and defense.
Frazier was named a first-team all-league performer at running back and linebacker, and Burril was named a first-team offensive and defensive lineman.
Junior Toby Thomas was also a two-time first-team performer, being named the No. 1 punter and kicker in the league.
Senior Ben Holliday was named to the first team at center, and junior Bo Thunell was a first-team player at defensive back.
Head coach Monty Nash, who guided the Prospectors to an undefeated 6-0 mark in league games and a 7-3 overall record, was named Wapiti League coach of the year by a vote of his peers.
The Prospectors also had a number of players named second-team all-stars including junior offensive lineman Sam Stinnett, Thomas at running back and defensive back, Thunell at quarterback, senior Mitch Prophet on the defensive line and junior linebacker Sterling Horn.
Named honorable-mention performers were senior linebacker Orrin Ledgerwood and junior defensive back Bryce Bartlett.
