BURNS Organizers are seeking donations and help for a massive hay drive to aid ranchers affected by the rangeland fires this summer.
RESTOR, an Oregon Cattlemens Association task force, is planning to deliver some 400 tons of hay to the ranches this week. On Wednesday, the hay will be taken to Burns, and then on to ranches in the Frenchglen and Jordan Valley area.
Colby Marshall, task force chair, said many generous individuals and businesses have offered help.
