Ask your kids what they eat at school. If their answers include soda or other sugary drinks, candy bars, french fries, doughnuts or potato chips, it's time for a little re-education about healthy foods.

It's not hard to put together a healthy sack lunch: food such as apples, baby carrots, hard-boiled eggs, peanut butter sandwiches, a thermos full of soup and yogurt are all easy to pack.
