SALEM - Oregon's State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) is issuing the last call to apply for Preservation Leadership Training offered annually by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The weeklong training, co-sponsored by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department, will be conducted June 5-12 in Astoria.

The application deadline is April 1. Forms and other details are available at the National Trust's Web site:

The Oregon SHPO is offering three scholarships to with the cost of registration and expenses for lodging and meals. The scholarships are available through its Elisabeth Potter Award.
