• A noninjury traffic accident was reported at a location on Highway 26 near milepost 85. Accident was in Wheeler County.

• Heavy snow was reported on Highway 395 in the area of Beech Creek, Information referred to the Oregon Department of Transportation.

• A dog was reportedly caught in a live trap at a location in the 26000 block of Harper Road. The animal was reportedly vicious. Information referred to the sheriff. Owners of animal were cited.

• An alarm was reported at the Shoshoni Winds Restaurant. Information referred to the Prairie City Police Department. Building checked and appeared it to be secure.

• A shot was reported fired at a location on Green Acres Lane. Information referred to the sheriff. May have been someone shooting at a cat.

• Dogs were reported running at large at a location in the 1000 block of Hall Street. Information referred to Prairie City.

April 5• An incident of telephonic harassment was reported at a residence on Screech Alley Loop.

• An alarm was reported going off at the Thomas Condon Center at the John Day Fossil Beds. Building checked and it appeared to be secure.

• A possible drunk driver was reported in the area of Highway 396 and Highway 26. Vehicle located at Les Schwab Tire Center. Unfounded complaint.

• Theft of jewelry was reported at a residence in the 300 block of Northwest Third Street.

• An alarm was reported at the Federal Building on Patterson Bridge Road. False alarm, an employee set it off.

• A suspicious person was reported loitering around the Dairy Queen. Subject was contacted and identified.

• A vehicle reportedly drove through a fence at a location in the 300 block of East Riverside. Driver is possibly intoxicated. Information referred to the sheriff. Subject was taken into custody.

April 6• An alarm was reported at the Federal Building on Patterson Bridge Road. False alarm, the building was open for business.

• An alarm was reported at a residence in the 41000 block of Ritter Road. Information referred to the sheriff. Residence checked and reported to be secure.

• A vehicle reportedly ran off the road several times on Highway 26 in the area of milepost 143. Information referred to the Oregon State Police. Driver was arrested.

• Loud music was reportedly coming from a residence in the 600 block of West Main Street. Owners of residence contacted and given a warning to turn the music down.

• An alarm was reported at the Kam Wah Chung Museum. Building checked and reported to be secure.

• An open door was reported at Blue Mountain Junior High School. Building checked and door was secured.

• A suspicious person was reported at Chester's Thriftway. Subject was contacted and identified.

April 7• A "bunch of drunk kids" were reported at a trailer in Riverside Trailer Park. One subject cited for minor in possession of alcohol.

• An incident of trespassing was reported at a location in the 400 block of Patterson Bridge Road. Subject was identified.

• A noninjury traffic accident was reported in the parking lot of the Grant County Courthouse.

• A possible domestic disturbance was reported at a residence in the 600 block of West Main Street.

April 8• A theft was reported at a residence in the 100 block of Northeast Elm Street.

• An open door was reported at a building on Front and South Main streets. Information referred to Prairie City Police. Building checked and door secured.

April 9• An open door was reported at the Veteran's Office. Building checked and door was secured.

• A citizen in the 200 block of Northeast Dayton Street reported the neighbor's cat had been throwing up and defecating on her front porch. She had talked to the neighbors without results. Owner of the animal was contacted and advised of the situation.

• Vehicles were reportedly being driven in a reckless manner at a location on Roper Road. Information referred to the sheriff.

• An incident of theft was reported at a location in Long Creek Suspect was arrested.

April 10• A suspicious vehicle was reported parked at Grant Western Lumber Company. Unfounded complaint, the subject is an employee.

• An assault was reported at a location in the 600 block of West Main Street. Suspect was arrested.

• Several bicycles were reported stolen from a residence in the 60000 block of East Side Lane. Information referred to the sheriff.
