Grant County Ford furnished a chicken entree on Sept. 18 served by members of the John Day United Methodist Church.

Marge Wagner led the flag salute and Bob Willey asked the blessing. Mavis Traylor received a free meal and Mildred Allen won the certificate from Chester's Thriftway.

Anita Princehouse of New Mexico was a guest, accompanied by Helen Bogart.

Mormon Church members served pot pie on Sept. 22 at the Senior Center.

Wednesday's bingo caller was Don Caldwell. Carolyn Caldwell won $20 consolation for the $290 jackpot and Edna Howard won $20 consolation for the $500 jackpot.

Beef stroganoff will be served on Monday, Sept. 25. The Fergusons will provide musical entertainment - Max on saxophone and Irene on piano.

Soup and sandwiches will be the entree on Thursday, Sept. 29.

A big thanks to all who donate and volunteer. We also have enjoyed all the fresh garden produce.
