JOHN DAY - On Monday, June 8th, the servers were members of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Dean Kile led the flag salute and Pastor Roger Blesi gave the blessing. Spaghetti, green beans and green salad were served and there were cookies for dessert.

Bob McCauley entertained with his usual good story. Richard Holdren was the recipient of the certificate from Len's Drug.

Bonnie and Brandis Kocis of Hoodsport, Wash., and Jack and Gail Smith from Pennsylvania were guests.

On June 11, the servers were from Cornerstone Christian Fellowship. Jessica Tichida led the flag salute and the blessing was given by Kathy Stockdale. Bob McCauley read a cute story. The entree was furnished by M.D. Enterprizes. The Chester's Thriftway certificate was given to Fred Stoltz, and Dale Stennett received the free meal certificate. Three people from Monument were guests.

Chicken and dressing, mixed bean salad and sliced tomatoes were served. This being "Birthday Thursday," cake was served and was furnished by Driskill Memorial Chapel and Velvet Touch. Mary Lambeth celebrated a birthday on Wednesday.

On June 18, a pork dinner will be served; June 22 will be pizza bread and soup.

All fathers should be honored on June 21, Father's Day!
