JOHN DAY - Monday, Feb. 2, hamburger with all the goodies and condiments were served, as well as salad, tater tots and lazy daisy bars.

Sylvia Warrick led the flag salute and Ivan Porfily asked the blessing. Blue Mountain Hospital Auxiliary members served the meal.

Carryl Magee's name was drawn for the certificate from Len's Drug.

Members of St. Thomas Episcopal Church served the meal Feb. 5th. Dennis Reynolds led the flag salute and Billy Drinkwater asked the blessing.

Ham and beans, cornbread, muffins, salad and strawberry shortcake were served. The entree was furnished by Barrietua Rentals.

Two of the senior center's most faithful volunteers won the certificates donated by Chester's Thriftway and the Site Council.

The dining room has been festively decorated for Valentine's Day by two volunteer "cupids," Helen and Deda.

Thursday the 12th, a Valentine chicken dinner will be served.

Monday, Feb. 16th, the senior center will be closed in honor of President's Day.

Pork will be served on the 19th, potato bar on the 23rd and lasagna on the 26th, will round out the menus for February.

Come visit and enjoy the warm, welcoming atmosphere, as well as delicious meals Cindy and Judy prepare.
