JOHN DAY - We had spaghetti for lunch on Monday, Dec. 7. Blue Mountain Hospital Auxiliary were the servers. Isa Larkin led the flag salute and Billy Drinkwater gave the blessing. Jean Willey won the certificate from Len's Drug and Isa Larkin will have a free meal at the Senior Center.

It was reported that Glenn and RoseAnne Palmer are furnishing a Christmas dinner here at the Center on Christmas Day. They have done this several times and we really thank them because it gives us all a great meal and the opportunity to visit friends on Christmas Day.

On Thursday, Dec. 10, we were served a chicken and rice casserole. It was birthday cake day and we really enjoyed the beautiful cake furnished by Driskill Memorial Chapel and Velvet Touch Car Wash.

Duane Cheadle was wished a happy birthday on Dec. 12.

The servers were members of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship.

Kathy Stockdale led the flag salute and Pastor Levi Manitsas gave the blessing. Eulala Herbert won the drawing for Chester's Thriftway and Don Porter won the certificate from Leather's Oil Company.

Don Caldwell gave a report on the Christmas Bazaar table. There was over $400 made.

Carryl Magee read a couple of short jokes, for a laugh.

We will have soup and sandwiches on Monday, Dec. 14, and we will have our Christmas ham dinner on Dec. 17. On Monday, Dec. 21, it will be breakfast for our meal and Monday, Dec. 28, we will have taco salad.
