Juniper Ridge 4-H kicks off busy 2011

Standing: Lucinda Harper, Rheannah Lemons, Mikaela Donohue, Maci Strong and Bailey Harper. Seated: Hailie Wright, Trinity Hutchison, Ali Chobo, Kailie Wright and Dustin Wright.

The Juniper Ridger 4-H club held their first meeting at the home of Sue Lemons. There were seven members present.

Members signed up for projects to be taken to the 2011 fair. Members also donated a tree to be auctioned at the Festival of Trees last December, as a community service project.

The club also worked a booth at the Festival of Children. The club did a great job, and their leader, Jackie Osborne, reported the club earned community service hours to be donated toward a free ski trip to Anthony Lakes for Grant County skiers.

The club would like to thank all of the people who help make the 4-H program and their projects, a success. The next club meeting is scheduled for the end of January.

Hannah Deming is the club news reporter for the Juniper Ridge 4-H club.
