The Eagle/HEATHER SHEEDY<br> Klamath First Bank's new branch manager Bob Quinton is proud of the capable crew at Prairie City's branch, which includes tellers Lori Jesse, assisting Helen Ricco with her banking needs, and Fran Bunch.

JOHN DAY - Bob Quinton is the new Community Branch Manager who will be roving between Klamath First Bank branches in Prairie City and John Day.  Quinton was raised in Grants Pass, where he worked at a plywood mill for 12 years before receiving a business degree from Southern Oregon University. He then worked for title and mortgage companies and served as a commercial loan officer. He began his banking career as a loan officer and was promoted to the real estate credit department. More recently he served as vice-president of banks in Eugene and Grants Pass.

Eastern Oregon is not foreign to Quinton. He's been recreating in the area for more than 20 years and enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, skiing, golfing and landscaping.

Of joining our community, he said, "I'm here to get involved." He admires Klamath First for stepping up to serve smaller communities' banking needs and is looking forward to working with the "very competent" teams at Prairie City and John Day.
