JOHN DAY - Janice Officer led the way in A Flight accuracy on holes No. 4 and No. 8 at the Wednesday Morning Ladies Golf League competition on Aug. 30.

Mike Lenz drew an accuracy line on the holes for the ladies to shoot at.

Helen Frazier was the most accurate in B Flight and Roni Palmer was the best in C Flight.

Jean Kline led the ladies in D Flight.

There was also some good putting by the ladies with Brenda Densberger and Denise Smith leading A Flight with scores of 31.

The low putter in B Flight was Virginia Winnett with 26 over 18 holes.

Jessie Ostberg had 36 putts to lead C Flight, and Toddy Stovall paced D Flight with 32.

Carolyn Asher was the low-putt winner over nine holes with 14.

Densberger had a pair of birdies on holes No. 4 and No. 8.

The Wednesday Night Margarita gals played a scramble and Donna Edmunson, Lavonne Slinkard, Janet Rude and Lanni Strong all shot par 37 to tie for low gross honors.

Julie Woodbury, Linda McClellan and Mary Weaver all shot a one over par 38 to tie for low net.
