BAKER CITY – The Prairie City Lady Panthers basketball team have had a historic and stellar season.

And it's not even over yet.

The girls have been working their way through the 1A Girls Basketball State Championship games in Baker City this week. After losing to Triangle Lake, 40-44, on March 5, they headed to the consolation bracket, competing on March 6 against Country Christian, whom they beat in overtime, 47-46.

They have one more game tomorrow morning, March 8, against Dufur at 9 a.m., at Baker City High School, for either fourth or sixth place.
