INVITATION FOR BIDS  Holliday Pit - Stockpiled Aggregate

Sealed bids will be received at the Grant County Road Department by Ross Hodgson, Road Master, by 8:00 a.m. local time and opened by the Contract Review Board in County Court Chambers at the Grant County Courthouse, Canyon City, Ore. at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 2002 for the following:  Crush and stockpile aggregate for a total of 10,000 cubic yards of 3/8"-10.  Holliday Stockpile site is approximately 7 miles east of John Day, Ore., thence 3 miles south on County Road 54.  Prequalification of bidder shall be required, in accordance with Oregon Revised Statute (ORS) 279.039, and as shown in subsection 00120.00, Prequalification of Bidders.  In accordance with ORS 279.027, Contractor is to submit to the Public Contracting Agency, a disclosure of any first-tier subcontractors that will be furnishing labor or materials in connection with this Contract within four working hours after the deadline for bids to be received. A disclosure form must be submitted even if the bidder indicates "NONE" on the accompanying disclosure form. The disclosure form must also be submitted in a separate sealed envelope.  Under Oregon Revised Statues (ORS 279.029) each bid shall contain statement as to whether the bidder is Resident Bidder. WESTERN JUNIPER CUTTING PROJECT

The Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs Reservation of Oregon, through their John Day Basin Office, is inviting bids from qualified Contractors to furnish all labor, tools, machinery, materials (except as noted), transportation, equipment and services necessary, and reasonably incidental to, the completion of all manufacture, delivery and installation work in connection with a Western Juniper Cutting Project. The project is located at three (3) sites including the Tribally owned Forrest Conservation Area in Prairie City Ore. and on privately owned lands near John Day and Mt. Vernon Ore.  A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on October 3, 2002, at 9 a.m., prevailing local time, at the John Day Basin Office, located at 139 South Canyon Boulevard, Canyon City Oregon in the conference room.  A pre-bid inspection tour will be held immediately following the pre-bid conference.  For further information or to obtain a bid package, please contact Shaun Robertson or Linda Brown at the John Day Basin Office.
