Grant County (residents) showed their concern and ownership responsibility by the response and participation in the December spay and neuter clinic at Gambler Veterinarian Clinic. The vets and staff had about 100 cats and 50 dogs in two days.

Larger cities have their humane societies, but the sad fact is 50 percent of the cats and at least 25 percent of the dogs are euthanized for the lack of adoptive homes.

Good job, Grant County!
