To the Editor:

The article on the transfer of the old Prairie City Methodist church was fine, but the writer used the term "born-again" to describe it. Born again in the Christian sense refers to new life in Christ; a church, of all places, closing for want of membership is not only not new life, but it's the death of a Christian institution - a very sad affair and I'm afraid a sign of our times as society drifts more and more away from the Lord and into secular matters.
