To the Editor:

I would like to express my gratitude to the person/persons responsible for turning in my misplaced wallet, found at McDonald's July 4. Now you can grin and laugh and brag about your good civic deed - you have that right. I would gladly have given a finder's fee, but the rather hefty (three-figure) amount that you elected to extract will hopefully ease your financial concern, or your substance abuse problem.

I sincerely hope that the rest of your miserable life will be as easy and rewarding.

If in the future, this type of incident were to happen to you, it is my sincere desire that you receive the same treatment and feel the same feeling.

Think about and remember: Good and bad deeds have a way of making a full circle in someone's life.

As if you really care, right?
