Local Red Cross volunteers head to Washington mudslide

Medford, Ore. -- Three people from Southern Oregon are in the Oso area of Washington helping those displaced by the mudslide.

The Red Cross volunteers, two from Klamath Falls and one from Grants Pass, are with the Southern Oregon chapter.

So far 18 volunteers from the local "Cascades Region" have been deployed to the area.

The Red Cross is providing shelter, food, medical and emotional support to Oso residents and emergency responders.
